Lip Exfoliator

One thing I always wanted was to try a lip exfoliator to try and smooth out my lips, especially around the winter time. So when I was online one day looking at makeup brands I ran across an affordable one, ELF’s product. They had a lip exfoliator that they sell at Wal-Mart for $3.00. I knew I had to try it out.

I bought the product and was excited to try it out. The directions on the box were to use daily in a circular motion on your lips and to wipe off with a wet cotton pad. Afterward, apply your lip balm to your lips, and you are done.

The first time I tried this product I fell in love. The product is in a lipstick form so it is easy to use. To use you apply in a circular motion and wipe off with a wet cotton pad. Once you wipe it off your lips, I recommend applying your lip balm quickly because they will feel dry. Once the balm was applied my lips felt smooth and soft. I apply once a day, normally before going to bed after I wash my face off since it recommends doing it on clean lips. After a week of applying it every day the product still works the same. I am excited to see what it does in the future.

What I am excited for is using this than applying matte lipstick to see how it works. A lot of makeup gurus recommend exfoliating the lips then applying the lipstick to have it go on smoothly. I will let you know how that works in my next review of this product.

Overall, I would recommend this to my friends and family, and you all! The product made my lips smoother than they have ever been. I cannot wait to try it when the weather drops a little bit more. I’ll let you know how I feel about the product in six months.
